3d Embroidery Testing
Embroidery
Embroidery is a process of decorating apparel with thread to produce a design that lasts as long as the fabric. Traditionally, embroidery was done by hand – now there are advanced embroidery machines that can create intricate designs quickly and with precision. These machines range from simple, single-needle models for home use to sophisticated multi-needle commercial machines that can handle large-scale production. The advent of computerized embroidery machines has revolutionized the industry, allowing for digital design input and automated stitching, making it easier to achieve consistent and high-quality results.

" At Custom Caps Canada, we offer multiple embroidery embroidery types you can use to decorate your apparel. With high quality digitizing and state of the art Tajima machines combines, we ensure to produce highest quality embroidery results with tight stitches and clean results. We recommend letters to be atleast 6mm tall with column widths of 0.5mm for optimal results, however we can go as low as 4mm with minimum legibility issues. "

Regular Embroidery
This embroidery technique involves directly stitching onto the garment using an embroidery
machine. The process begins with digitizing the design using specialized software and
uploading it to the machine. The garment is then secured in a hoop, placed on the machine,
and thread colors are assigned. The machine then performs the embroidery autonomously.
Recommended for Hats, Hoodies, Sweatshirts, T Shirts. Withs with most simple to
medium complex designs with no gradients or tiny details.
3D Puff Embroidery
3D Puff embroidery adds a raised, three-dimensional effect to designs by incorporating foam
under the stitches. The process begins with digitizing the design for 3D embroidery, then
loading it onto the embroidery machine. Foam is placed on the fabric where the raised effect
is desired, and the machine stitches over the foam, creating a puffy, elevated look. This
method is popular for caps and other items where a bold, textured appearance is desired.
Recommended for Hats and Hoodies. Works with text and simple designs where columns are
between 3-15mm wide.
What is Column Width?
In 3D Puff embroidery, the thread is stitched in a zig-zag pattern, creating raised, thick
designs. The space or distance between one side of the stitching to the other side is called
the column width.

Embroidered Patches
Embroidered patches are fabric pieces with designs stitched onto them using embroidery machines. These patches can be affixed to clothing, accessories, or other textile items by sewing, ironing, or using adhesive backing. At Custom Caps Canada, we only do iron on backing They are often used for branding, identification, or decorative purposes and come in various shapes, sizes, and colors. Embroidered patches provide a durable and high-quality way to display logos, insignias, and other artwork on garments.
