DIGITAL vs EMBROIDERY - WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE
Digital is the process by where we take a file, and print it onto a film using a specialized laser printer. We then treat this film, and use a commercial heat press to press that film image into the hat. We can do full color with this type of transfer. Embroidery is stitching into the hat, simple designs, lettering or logos.
DO YOU HAVE ANY MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITIES?
No we don’t have any minimums, you can order as many or as few hats as you’d like. However, if you plan to order 10 or more of the same hat, please see our Wholesale Canadian Embroidered Caps page.
CAN I USE MY OWN HATS?
Due to the professional nature of our service we will only customize and embroider hats that are purchased on our website.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
Shipping fees depend on the speed at which you want your order. Shipping starts as little as $10 within Ontario.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes. In fact, it's sometimes cheaper to ship internationally!
HOW LONG DOES MY ORDER TAKE TO SHIP?
After you place your order, it usually takes us 24-48 hours to assign a designer and get started. After you approve the design, most orders leave our shop in 5-9 business days. Some orders do take a bit longer depending on the design elements, and cap chosen. If you have a time sensitive project, please let us know prior to ordering. Also, November/December and March/April we see a bit longer wait times.
WHAT IS A DIGITIZING FEE?
HUH? WHAT? Oh, that fee that other online stores charge you to take your graphic and make it embroidery friendly? Well, we don't charge that. We will always spend a bit of time working on your uploaded artwork for free. If there are serious changes required to make your idea come to life, we'll discuss it with you, but that's rare.
HOW MANY COLORS CAN YOU EMBROIDER IN A LOGO?
We include up to 5 colours in every job. If you need more, we are capable of dealing with 15 at a time! Please contact us before ordering if you think the job is complex!
HOW BIG CAN MY LOGO BE EMBROIDERED
Most hats can accommodate a space of 5cm x 12cm
HOW WELL ARE THREAD COLOURS MATCHED?
We will do our best always to match thread colours, however, screen colours and lighting affect what colours are perceived. We will do our best to provide you with the intended results, however, sometimes even in the designer, colours look different than they do in person. We cannot be held responsible for colour differences in hats, designer mock up hats, or thread colours. If you require a specific pantone colour of thread for a logo, please indicate this to us prior to designing.

How to measure cap size?
Found a hat but not sure which size will fit the best? Most of the manufacturers have their own capping sizes but we have simplified them here so you can find everything in one place.
Is there a limit to stitch count?
There are no additional charges for orders under 8000 stitches. Orders above 8000 stitches are subject to $1/1000 stitches per hat.
What happens if my order is returned due to an incorrect address?
If your order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, you will need to cover the cost of reshipping.
